God has been so good to us. I find myself so dependent on Him for everything. Jane just overwhelms my heart with love and I am so thankful for her. God knew that I needed her at this time in my life when life is taking on some huge changes for us. Praise you God that you do not change, you are the same. Thank you Lord, that you have given us a ministry that we do not deserve. It is by your strength and in your power that lives will be changed. May we be used for your glory...

Baby Jane

Jane's 2 week appointment. She is very healthy! Praise God!

She is so much fun already. She gained 1 full pound at her 2 week appointment! She clearly doesn't eat enough!

Graduation

The day finally came! I couldn't believe that Jane slept through the entire thing. It was an unforgettable time and we enjoyed the reception back at John's parent's house.

Labor & Delivery

And then there were three...

Jane's first screams! She had some great lungs already!

So... I went into the hospital on May 1st at about 3:00 pm and had some medicine to begin dilating because I was at zero. At 7:00 pm they checked and I was at 1 so the medicine was working. I started have contractions pretty close together and by midnight I needed a shot to take the edge off the contractions at 3:00 am they started the pitocin and from 4:00 - 6:30 am I was in severe pain but then the epidural came and I was flying high and not feeling a thing. Thank you Lord. I dilated from 3 1/2 to 7 centimeters in 45 minutes. At 8:45 am I was ready to push and I had her at 9:34 am. I never felt closer to the Lord in depending on Him for everything and thankful that she came out so healthy.

The Scripture is so true..."Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world." John 16:21

Welcome Home Jane Christine!

34 Weeks

It's very hard to see but the baby has it's left arm over it's head and the right leg over the other side. It is incredible to see this baby's face so clearly. We can't wait to hold him/her in our arms. Only a few weeks to go.

The baby is kicking like crazy anf John and I are getting more and more excited about the arrival of baby Cox. We still don't know who it is but we have decided on a few names Jane or Faith & James or Will. We love all of the names but think we'll decide when we meet him/her. I am thankful to be working - it is such a blessing to keep busy all day until the baby comes. We are going to paint the baby's room in a few weeks. So excited!

Lord, thank you for the blessing of being able to have a baby!

Daisy Pregnant 15 weeks

So, I have experienced "quickening" (the first movements of your baby). It is pretty spectacular. I am not feeling them regularly yet but I am told soon enough the baby won't STOP moving. I am anticipating that time. Striving to give glory to God as you experience morning sickness all day is truly a dying to self. It's difficult but God has given me strength and perseverance and I am very blessed.

Second Ultrasound

Yay! You can really see the baby in this one! You can see its big head and little nose. The doctor said it has really long legs! Poor thing it has no choice! We are so excited! Praise the Lord!

I have found some great ideas and wanted to show you my two favorite! I love the paint colors and all the fabrics for bedding. I am going to put my sewing machine to good use! Can't Wait!

2nd Trimester

Well, this is what the baby would look like in 3D at 13 weeks. It really is incredible! John and I are still in disbelief but overjoyed! Our 12 week ultrasound went really well. The baby was flipping all around and flailing its little arms. John and I were laughing so hard! It was such a blessed time and we are anticipating the arrival of Baby Cox with the new due date April 26th. I still am not over the morning sickness but it is getting better. Thank you all for your love & prayers. It's unbelievable how God forms this little one and each month you get to see His miraculous works on display! I am overwhelmed!
